I STARTED MY BUSINESS WITH ONE MISSION: TO HELP PEOPLE.
I come from a background in advertising and branding. I worked with all sized accounts from large corporations to small startups, but was yearning for something more creative. I started to become fascinated by personal branding. Technically each person is a brand and whether they know it or not, their appearance reflects who they are as a person. When we look great, we feel great and that confidence rolls into every other aspect of our lives.
" I LOVE STYLING BECAUSE IT HAS ALLOWED ME TO HELP PEOPLE BE THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES."
In college, I dabbled in fashion and apparently being voted "Best Dressed" in 5th grade really stuck with me. I wanted to find a way to pair my two passions of designing and styling. People were constantly stopping me on the streets asking me where I got my clothes and friends were calling me to help them shop for special events. Then the lightbulb went off. That is when I became a fashion stylist. Having a background in branding was really beneficial for me, because anyone call tell someone to wear a certain style or trend. I am different, because I take time to think of each of my clients as their own brand. My goal is not to change your look or push my personal style or trends on people. I simply elevate your personal everyday style.
More recently I have moved over into the music industry and love working with established artists to rebrand themselves, or taking on newly signed artist to develop their brand. As a stylist in the music industry, my job to tell their story visually is as important as the song is itself. I don’t take on a “certain type” of client, because the look on someone’s face when you give them a new found confidence is priceless and so incredibly rewarding. I teach people how to dress for their main activities and not buy a bunch of clothes they won’t wear. I take the guesswork and confusion out of dressing. I create effortless, adaptable wardrobes for people so they can focus their time and energy on the things they love and are good at.
" FASHION IS LIKE ART THAT YOU WEAR. IT SHOULD REPRESENT BOTH WHO YOU ARE AND WORK WITH YOUR BODY STYLE AND FUNCTIONAL NEEDS."
In the next ten years, my goals are to grow my business to London, LA and NYC, open a store with unique statement pieces for other stylists and creatives, create my own minimal clothing line and learn to stop spending unnecessary money on Amazon buying cat toys and clothes.
