Fave Things Friday 4/17

Welcome to the VERY FIRST Fave Things Friday post! I spend the majority of my time searching. Searching for new brands, new stores, new designers, the perfect fit, etc. So…why not share my discoveries every week with you! I will narrow down my weekly finds into my favorite five things every Friday!

This week I am focusing on building my spring capsule wardrobe of fewer better things that all work together, so logically my Fave Things Friday will be some of those items.

Capsule Piece 1: The great sweatshirt // I love Anine Bing everything. Great quality, minimal designs, etc. Throw out all 24 old sweatshirts you never wear and replace with a new, classic one.

Capsule Piece 2: The distressed boyfriend denim // You can’t go wrong with a great pair of jeans - however, you can buy too many pairs of the same style. The key is to get five pairs of all different styled (skinny, high-waisted, distressed, boyfriend, etc.)

Capsule Piece 3: The casual black jumpsuit // This jumpsuit is great because it can be dressed up or dressed down.

Capsule Piece 4: The romper // I love this satin romper because it is so comfortable. A little more expensive than an everyday item, but I wear this to so many events, it was well worth the purchase.

Capsule Piece 5: The staple heeled sandal // Every once in a while (when the conditions are right) I am on-board with spending a little more than I typically would for a piece. I can condone this purchase because it is an investment piece for me, I have wanted it for more than 3 months, and it is over 50% off.
